The city of Ostende has now a whiskycafé called The Green Man from february 2013. It is meant to make contacts in the world of whisky but also to make some publicity for travelling in Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

The Green Man won the Belgian Whisky Award in 2014 and 2017.

The Green Man on Tour : Tours shall be available : a nice mix between whisky, history and landscapes. You can find offers on this website in the next months. One of the tours is the famous Whiskey Trail in Ireland with visits at Middleton/Jameson, Kilbeggan/Cooley, Tullamore and Bushmills in combination with The TitanicExperience in Belfast, The Giants Causeway, Dublin and lots of Irish and Celtic monuments. In Scotland are we visiting lot of distilleries 'on demand' in the Lowlands, Highlands, Islay or Speyside but also Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Rosslyn Chapel and many many others.

The Green Man at home : Guests can choose out of a wide selection of 900 whiskies varying from official to independent bottlers and older and newer bottlings. For the people wanting to bgring their whisly loving husband / wife/father/mother/boyfriend/girlfriend home safe, we have also a selection of special tea's; sherry's,.. to offer you.
